I specialize in working with clients with anxiety caused by a broad spectrum of reasons, particularly those that manifest as a <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/edgewaterpsychotherapy.com\/?page_id=1023\"><strong>Polycrisis<\/strong><\/a><\/span>. Everything from concerns about family, marriage and home life; work and career-related problems; and baggage from past experiences. All create feelings of worry, concern, agitation and often generate poor coping strategies. I will help you untangle this web and forge a positive path to problem resolution and accommodation of realities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Although fears about safety while driving, injury during sport activities or even financial worries are normal types of &#8216;anxiety&#8217;, many people suffer from a sensation and level of fear that is disproportionate in terms of intensity, frequency and duration. <strong>General Anxiety Disorder<\/strong>\u00a0diagnoses (Coded: F41.1) present in many forms:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Constant worry about specific problems: money, career, health, relationships&#8230;..<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A jittery feeling for no specific reason<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Fears about judgment in social and work settings<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Anticipatory fears about future events<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Combined as a sense of being overwhelmed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This &#8216;Clinical Anxiety&#8217; represents an enhanced wiring of the brain towards fear, threat and even paranoia, often in response to traumatic or upbringing experiences. It can be viewed as a component of a person&#8217;s personality.
